Air and Missile Defense Senior Test Engineer Analyst

Position Description

Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Air and Missile Defense Senior Test Engineer / Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Test Engineer will work as part of an Army Project Office support team, focusing on test design, planning and documentation; technical systems integration; and test execution in a field environment on an Air and Missile Defense BM/C4I system.

This work will occur as part of a Test Execution Team, therefore the candidate must be able to work in a high paced team environment consisting of government and prime contractor personnel from multiple projects, agencies, and labs including external agency stakeholders such as TCM, ATEC, and OSD. Experience is desired with systems associated with Air Defense Artillery such as the Forward Area Air Defense Command, Control, and Intelligence (FAAD C2I)/ Counter-Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar Command and Control (CRAM C2) systems; Patriot; Air and Missile Defense Planning Control Systems (AMDPCS); Air Defense and Airspace Management (ADAM) Cells; and the Theater Missile-Warning Detachments (TMWD)

Basic Qualifications

A four-year, Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited college in Engineering, a Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent T&E experience is required. This position requires a minimum of 10 years DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.

Test event categories this position will support include HWIL lab testing and range testing. Experience in US government test range environments like White Sands Missile Range is preferred.

There will be travel requirements associated with duties to test sites for on-site test event execution.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
