Role Overview
The Avionics Internal Controls Specialist position is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a dynamic finance
professional who seeks to build on their existing Accounting and/or Audit experience through in-depth exposure to a
fast-paced international business. Reporting to the Avionics Director, Internal Controls, the Internal Controls
Specialist will have the opportunity to work on various project initiatives in support of Avionics locations around the
globe.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Support the Avionics Sarbanes-Oxley program for establishing and maintaining adequate internal control over financial reporting
• Administer quarterly certification processes, including training, monitoring, and reporting of results
• Complete annual entity level risk assessment, risk mitigation and internal controls gap assessment
• Complete annual Accounting and Controls Assessments (ACA)
• Monthly internal controls and compliance monitoring and reporting to evaluate effectiveness and remedial action requirements/guidance
• Maintain the Avionics approval authority matrix and provide relevant guidance on the approval of transactions within Avionics
• Provide guidance on UTC Policy, accounting and internal control matters

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor’s degree and five years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and three years of prior relevant experience
