Job Description

MAG Aerospace seeks exceptionally qualified individuals to serve as a CH-47 NRCM for the Advanced Helicopter Flight Training Support in the Ft. Rucker, Alabama area.

Job Requirements

* Must be U.S. Army-qualified contractor or contractor-eligible Non-Rated Crewmembers in the CH-47F.

* NRCM Instructors will be a graduate of an Army-approved NRCM Flight Instructor / Standardization Instructor Course as applicable and will have documented outstanding performance within their work history.

* NRCM Flight Engineers (FEs) will have 5+ years as a NRCM and have been previously designated as an FE in the CH-47F.

* Must have an active SECRET clearance OR ability to obtain SECRET security clearance.

Medical Qualifications for all Crewmembers: All crewmembers will submit FAA medical certificate, with any applicable Statement of Demonstrated Ability (SODA) or FAA waiver, to U.S. Army Aeromedical Activity (AAMA) as required or directed by medical examiners / Flight Surgeon. In addition, crewmembers will submit FAA medical certificate, with any applicable Statement of Demonstrated Ability (SODA) or FAA waiver, to U.S. Army Aeromedical Activity (AAMA) as required or directed by medical examiners / Flight Surgeon. In addition, crewmembers must provide the FAA written authorization to release personal medical information to the AAMA in order to continue population based medical surveillance. The release of this information is critical to mission readiness and a necessary step to ensure risks to flight safety are minimized. All crewmembers must meet aviation medical requirements as described in AR 40-501 – Standards of Medical Fitness, paragraph 4-2.b.(4). All pilots will maintain a current annual Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Class 2 Medical Certificate through the duration of the contract or, if a member of the National Guard or Reserves, an Army Class 2 Flight Duty Medical Exam (FDME). All NRCMs will maintain an annual current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Class 3 Medical Certificate through the duration of the contract or, if a member of the National Guard or Reserves, a DD Form 2992 (Medical Recommendation for Flying or Special Operational Duty).
