The Doncasters Group is a leading international manufacturer of high-precision alloy components which are designed to operate in the most demanding of conditions. Our products are innovative and tenacious and we are looking for CNC Machinists who can bring a knowledgeable and passionate approach to Doncasters based in Sheffield.
Our Bramah site is a state-of-the-art aerospace facility and leading supplier of civil exhaust systems to the aerospace market.
The role:
You will need to be an experienced Machinist with a proven background in machining exotic metals, such as titanium, Jethete and Inconel.
The 2 positions are within our Small MAZAK Cell. We are looking for Millers with turning experience working a 3-shift pattern (Mornings/Afternoons/Nights).
Your responsibilities:
- To read and interpret drawings.
- To operate one or more CNC Machining Centres checking work as it comes off the machine.
- To load, examine and modify CNC programmes to give a good output of quality work.
- To be a team player and make a positive contribution in maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidy.
