Description

The Consultant, IATA Consultng is taking part to projects, business development initiatives, and developing new solutions in the area of Airport Traffic Forecasting and Airport Development. The Incumbent reports to the Senior Manager, IATA Consulting, based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

The Consultant is expected to:

1. Take part to consulting projects:

* Responsible for project tasks and sub-projects
* Management of consultants and subject matter experts dedicated to the project.
* Project delivery.
* Client interaction on a day-to-day basis.

Projects can take place in any world region.

2. Carry out analysis and delivery work: Development of models, contribution to the analytical work, formalization and review of reports, presentation to the client.

3. Take part in business development initiatives: Identification of business leads in coordination with the regional teams, participation to commercial meetings and support to the regional teams, preparation of technical and commercial proposals.

4. Develop new solutions: Support the design of new consulting solutions in collaboration with IATA subject matter experts, and in collaboration with the Marketing Department, formalize associated promotional material and marketing campaign.

Qualifications and Skills

1. University degree (Bachelor or Masters) in Business Administration, Economics or Civil Engineering, or equivalent degree.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience on airport economics topics (such as traffic forecasting, air service development or commercial development) or airport development topics (such as master planning, terminal planning or capacity studies). Additional experience related to aviation will be an asset.

3. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience on consulting assignments preferably with a consulting firm.

4. High level of computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access & Project. Experience in airport simulation tools is desirable.

5. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write reports in English. Knowledge of a second language such as Spanish, French, Japanese or Mandarin would be a definite advantage.

6. Strong analytical mindset.
