Job Role:
Key responsibilities:
* Consolidation of the group financial results within Oracle ERP System and provision of associated system support including involvement in intercompany reconciliations and Chart of Accounts maintenance
* Provision of system support in relation to the Oracle financial consolidation process and Account Reconciliation tool
* Accurate and timely delivery of Corporate Segment Financial and non-financial information including statistical information related to employees, annual leave and capital expenditure
* Accurate and timely delivery of non-financial data to the Group’s business units
* Continually refining and identifying process improvement opportunities associated with the financial close process or provision of information.
* Support in delivering timely monthly and weekly management reports to business units
* Supporting in delivering timely, accurate and insightful management reports to the Corporate Segment leadership team.
* Supporting in developing budget and reforecasts for the Corporate Segment and involvement of the consolidation of Business Unit Forecasts
* Support in Cross-functional projects within the wider finance team
About you:
As a qualified Accountant, you have knowledge and some experience of current guidelines and principles, preferably within a corporate accounting or commercial finance role.
In addition you will have :
* Demonstrated experience using Enterprise Wide Accounting Packages/Systems
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Demonstrated knowledge and application of current Accounting guidelines and principles
* Demonstrated experience in building relationship with key customers
* Intermediate - Advanced skills in relation to Microsoft software including excel, word powerpoint
