In your role, you will:
- Support the Engineering, Production and Quality organizations;
- Be responsible of the static strength calculation for the completion component using finite element and hand calculation.
- Support the material selection and thickness for the different structure elements or validating the designer selection base on the stress analysis.
- Prepare the official stress report in English for certification purposes.
- Engage in engineering development work;
- Sign engineering drawings and documentations;
- Prepare Test Plans and approve Test Reports
- Support various research and development projects
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You hold a bachelor in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years stress experience. MRB experience is an asset.
- You have experience including at least one of the following skills in the structural integrity qualification (loads, fatigue and damage tolerance) of airplane primary and secondary structural components.
- You have experience in stress analysis and FEM.
- You have practical knowledge and experience of Nastran/Patran
- You have excellent knowledge of aircraft structure and system installation technical requirements.
- You have practical knowledge and experience of Catia/Enovia V5.
- Work under minimum supervision to perform a wide range of technical functions.
- You have practical knowledge and experience in aircraft structure and completion components.
- You are customer-oriented with innovative problem solving skills and you are organized.
- You have good communication skills including good English and French writing and verbal skills.
- You are a team player, working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Good command of various software (MS Suite, Outlook, Acrobat, etc.).
