Engineering Summer Worker

Moog Industrial Group has an opportunity for a Summer Engineering Worker to perform a variety of tasks under close supervision to support engineering projects and activities related to the design, documentation, and testing of Moog products on 1st shift at our Murphy, North Carolina location.

Our summer job program is designed for current college students pursuing degrees and preference will be given to prior summer employees who left in good standing and referrals from internal Moog employees.

Here is what you can expect in this role:

* Assisting Engineers in implementing Continuous Improvement projects

* Researching tooling and machinery

* Producing work instructions, data cards and routings

* Assists in layouts

* Assist with engineering testing

* Engineering lab work

* Writing tooling requests

* Assisting with Lean events

* Configuration management

* CAD Modeling

Here is what we are interested in:

Minimum Requirements:

* Pursuing a college degree in an Engineering related discipline

* Must be 18 years of age or older

* Proficiency/experience with Microsoft Office Suite

* Good typing skills

* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally

Preferred Requirements:

* Prior work experience with Moog

* Preference given to referrals from internal Moog employees
