ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an opportunity for an Engineering Technician located in Patuxent River MD. The candidate shall be a team member working on a customer site at Naval Air Station Patuxent River providing technical support and evaluation of F/A avionic systems integration, modeling and simulation (M&S) analysis, and test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting support. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Perform maintenance on systems, installs, inspections, tests and possess the ability to make adjustments or repair equipment. * Have experience of maintenance on the F/A-18A/B/C/D/E/F and/or the EA-18G aircraft, with ability to troubleshoot aircraft utilizing the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) manual schematics. Education and Experience Requirements * The candidate shall have a working knowledge of: * F/A-18A/B/C/D/E/F avionic systems such as the APG-79 Radar, Link 16 data link, and Mission Planning; and/or * For the EA-18G avionic systems such as the Active Electronic Attack sensor suite, (i.e., ALQ-218, ALQ-299, and Nex Generation (NEXGEN) Jammer, AEA Mission Planning. * Possess in-depth knowledge of advanced electronic principles and circuit analysis and have the ability to trace signal flow, and understand circuit inter-relations * Communications Security (COMSEC) handling procedures and operations/loading procedures. * * Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics, or physics or equivalent experience * Four (4) years of technical / management/development / integration experience with military weapon systems and/or operations, with two (2) of those years occurring within the last four (4) years. Appropriate educational background may be substituted for this experience * Experience and knowledge of DoD systems engineering requirements, TEMP development, design interface requirements, and specification development. * Knowledge and capability in planning, management, budgeting, coordinating technical requirements, and contract reporting requirements. Security Clearance * This position will require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret /SCI security clearance.
