Excel are recruiting for a number of positions with a valued UK based client, including the hiring of a new Head of Engineering for their busy facility based in the North of the UK

The client are a company operating in the aviation manufacturing sector producing internal aircraft equipment for aircraft fit out.

This position is to head up the engineering department, so will oversee a small team of experienced professionals in design, mechanical, electrical and refrigeration part/appliance production. Such a role encompasses all aspects of this side of the business, so strong experience of leadership within this area will be essential.

The ideal candidate will have come from an aviation production background, with at least 5 years technical experience of successfully managing engineering teams from design through to production, as well as proven ability to build relationships with customers to ensure that their needs are met.

In return, you will earn a competitive salary for this level of position, of circa £55k per year, although this is dependent on experience.
