Reports to: Managing Director

Purpose:

To coordinate projects from customer to planning, organising, leading and controlling programme activities including, but not restricted to design and production, to completion. Communicate issues through the chain and organise regular progress meetings, budget spend and procurement.

 

General position is to ensure that projects/commitments are met within the agreed deadlines and at best cost and efficiency.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Plan the delivery of the overall programme and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organisation

  1. Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organisation

  1. Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the programme

  1. Develop a programme evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the programme and to identify areas for improvement

  1. Ensure that programme activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organisation

  1. Ensure that the programme activities comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards

  1. Liaise with other managers to ensure the effective and efficient programme delivery

  1. Providing resolutions for problems

  1. Maintain programme schedules with clear communication between MAC and the client

  1. Accounting for project cost, time and budget, including analysis of the programme/project as a whole

  1. Organising working parties, including any travel required

  1. Provide visibility on programs with reports of project status i.e. gant charts, capacity etc

 

Other Responsibilities:

1 Monitor progress throughout the departments and highlight issues

2. Be accountable for progress and delays
