Job Description

You are part of the IT management team consisting of the head of department and one other employee in IT. With your web development skills, you form the bridge between IT and Online Marketing / Web Portals. Amongst your tasks range:

IT administration

* VMs and server updates and monthly maintenance
* Ensuring continuity of service for all suppliers
* Maintaining disaster recovery plans and backups
* Management of suppliers in many areas, including outsourced IT functions, and telecoms
* New staff equipment setup, and leaving staff equipment decommission
* Inventory management, regular device health checks
* Evaluating new and existing systems in line with company requirements
* Promoting new and efficient methods to use IT to improve processes
* Project management, implementing new systems

Web Development

* Implementation of process digitalisation
* Development of internal web portals
* Management and updating of company websites

Qualifications

* Knowledge in Windows Servers and Linux
* Experience from a Microsoft environment,
* Basic knowledge of coding: PHP, HTML, Java Script, CSS, MySQL
* Microsoft Server 2012R2, Active Directory
* Microsoft Office 2016/365 Administration
* Microsoft Exchange 2016
* Microsoft SQL Server 2012
* Microsoft IIS Server 2012R2
* TCP/IP, DCHP, DNS, LAN/WAN, FortiGate Firewalls, VPNs.
* Windows 10 and macOS X
* Apple iPhone / iPad / iOS
* IBM ELO
* Hyper-V
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Soft skills:

* English very well spoken, German is not a must
* On occasion, the ability to work extra hours to get the job done
* Flexible, with good evaluation and prioritization skills
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* A good team-playing mentality
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints

Additional Information

* This position is based in Hörsching, Austria (LOWL/LNZ).
* Annual gross salary: minimum EUR 28.000 - depending on skills and qualification
* Additionally GlobeAir will provide corporate benefits.
