Job Description
CACI is seeking a Maritime Engineering Drafter to support our government customer at Crane, IN.
What You’ll Get to Do:
* Provide electronic CAD files of assemblies created from viewing equipment, photographs, line drawings, PDF files, etc.
* Interact and work with other professional Drafters
* Attend and participate in meetings when requested
* Prepare views of systems, subsystems, components, assemblies, cables and wiring from drawings and references and obtaining dimensions and tolerances by measuring the equipment (Drawings will include details of connectors, wiring, cables, power distribution and other accessories; conduit, wiring diagrams, mountings and peripherals)
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
* Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain and retain
* Must be able to work independently and be detail oriented
* Proficiency with computers including CAD software and Microsoft Office programs, to include: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Highly experienced drafter with ability to create 2D electronic drawings utilizing photographs, line drawings, PDF files, and 3D drawings
* Ability to deliver drawings as electronic CAD files
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
* Proficient using Solid Edge software
* Active Secret Security Clearance
