The Mission Systems team is seeking a Mechanical Design Analyst to join our dynamic team in Rockford, IL. Incumbent will be responsible for the design, development and analysis of specific mechanical engineering problems including: linear as well as non-linear structural analysis structural analysis; fatigue and fracture analysis; dynamic mechanical analysis, and fluid thermal analysis.

*Education / Certifications:
BSME degree or related Technical field w/6+years experience
MA/MS Mechanical Engineer or related Technical degree w/4 years experience
PhD degree w/2 years experience

*Experience/Qualifications:

* Six (6+) years of experience in related field
* Experienced in manual analytical methods as well as computer aided engineering methodology
* Prior experience in one or more of the following:
* Frequency and time domain analysis
* Finite Element Analysis
* Computational Fluid Dynamics

* Experience in one or more of the following design tools:
* ANSYS, PRO-E, NX, Matlab/Simulink or Other Modeling/Analysis Tools.
* Proficient with MS Office
* Due to specific contracts and programs US Citizenship Required
