Lead development of variable frequency drive and electrical architecture in HVAC and Refrigeration system

Job descriptions:

As the technical expert in the power electronics group, this role will be leading and driving the development of power electronics products for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment:

* Drive innovation and technology insertion in electrical system
* Develop variable frequency drive for HVAC products
* Lead power stage components (power semiconductor, gate driver, passive components, etc.) selection, design, and test through the whole product development cycle
* Lead PCB design and test through the whole product development cycle
* Draft and execute product qualification and certification tests
* Perform root cause analysis of failures and identify potential solutions

Qualifications/requirements:

* M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 10 years of working experience in power electronics. PhD. degree is a plus.
* Strong power electronics hardware development capability (e.g. PCB, semiconductor, passive components, box assembly)
* General product development experience and technical breadth in power electronics
* Demonstrated ability to lead groups with diverse viewpoints towards a common solution
* Legal to work in US in required
* Flexible to travel per need up to 20%
