Job Description

CACI International Inc. is looking to bring on a Senior Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering as a subject matter expert to support the PEO IWS program at our Washington, D.C. location.

What You’ll Get to Do:

* Provide subject matter expert level of knowledge and experience in the subjects and disciplines of systems engineering, naval architecture and marine engineering to the Chief Technology Officer (PEO IWS) to support PEO IWS efforts as the PEO moves forward in the development of Future Surface Ship Combat Systems and modularity approaches.
* Provide expert representation for the PEO IWS CTO at Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, inter PEO /SYSCOM/Agency meetings, conferences and technical forums.
* Develop complex analysis and briefs on behalf of the CTO and present on behalf of the CTO as required.
* Apply experience in interdisciplinary areas of marine engineering, naval architecture and marine system designs and skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for future surface ship combat system solutions in support of the CTO portfolio.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

* 16 Plus years of experience in ship design, material readiness, ship maintenance and materiel support.
* Experience working in the auspices of the Office of Naval Research and Naval Sea Systems Command in the areas of science and technology applicable to ship design, hydrodynamics and modularity approaches is required.
* Active Secret + DoD Security Clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Service as a Navy Engineering Duty Officer, or equivalent, with multiple tours in ship design and/or maintenance assignments.
