Description:LM is looking for “Cyber passionate” engineers with varied experiences such as software, systems, and integration/test engineering. The candidate will ensure cyber security standards are met and implemented. The candidate will be working in an agile development environment and will be responsible for supporting elements of the design/sustainment/development efforts. The candidate should be a well-rounded software developer with broad experiences but with a focused interest and demonstrable skills in C++/Java. The candidate can expect to work closely in agile teams. The candidate should be a self-starter that is attentive to details and works well in a multi-disciplined teaming environment.
Basic Qualifications:
• Candidates should have a solid understanding of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS).
• Demonstrated experience using: C++ and/or Java languages.
• Familiarity with Eclipse or other IDEs (Intellij, Netbeans, Visual Studio).
• Object Oriented (OO) Design & Development experience.
• Experience developing software in an Agile environment desired.
• Experience with Linux/Unix commands and environment.
• Experience with Agile Process Tools (VersionOne, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Experience Developing / integration of engineering tools in an Agile environment.
• DevSecOps
• Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (orchestration)
• Experience with Redhat (RHEL) 6.x, 7.x.
• Experience with Configuration Management Tools:
• Clearcase
• Gitlab
• Git
• Experience with development and implementation of Cyber Security (Information Assurance/Anti-Tamper) techniques
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification (GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP) or higher.
• Active Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Scaled Agile Framework experience; working as a part of a SCRUM Team. SAFe certified.
• Experience with Test Driven Development, Unit Testing, and automated test.
• Software code analysis methodology and tools; Fortify 360, Coverity, etc.
• Experience in development of model elements, DIS protocols.
• Experience in developing Human Machine Interfaces.
• Experience with DDS OpenSplice.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional – CISSP
• Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional – CSSLP
