Job Description
What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is searching for a candidate with a strong technical background in Citrix VDI environments or Cloud Architecture for a fast pace US Government program
More About the Role:
* Proposes and manages the shared data needs between the CMDB, Asset Management and Configuration Management
* Utilizes current best practices for CMDB procedures and provides input or feedback for continuous improvement of Asset & Configuration Management best practices
* Plans for data ingestion from different legacy sources, makes design decisions on that data and works to reconcile data based on the chosen authoritative source
* Develops and matures Configuration Management User Interface in Service Now
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE:
* Assess, architect/design, plan, install, document, maintain, and troubleshoot complex Citrix VDI environments in a public cloud
* Citrix Workspace
* Citrix Networking
* VMware, AWS infrastructure deployment and management
* Windows Server, AD, and Group Policy
* Profile, OS, and application environment management
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 7+ years’ experience with application/desktop virtualization with expert troubleshooting and installation knowledge with Citrix and VMware.
* Expert knowledge of server virtualization
* Expert knowledge of enterprise Microsoft environments
* Citrix CCE-V
* VMware VCP, VCP-DT a plus
* AWS certification
* Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization from end-user to senior management about both business and IT needs.
* Experience translating business requirements into functional/technical specifications.
* Excellent project management, project scoping, troubleshooting, problem resolution, documentation and customer management skills required.
* Active/Current TS/SCI with Poly
* VMware: 5 years (Required)
* AWS: 5 years (Desired)
* Citrix: 5 years (Desired)
Education:
* Citrix CCE-V (Desired)
* IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) – Intermediate (Required)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
* Knowledge of at least one operating system: Linux, Unix, Windows. Prior experience as an administrator or architect in any of the well-known operating systems is helpful.
* Knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, IP addresses, HTTP, DNS
* At least a minimal understanding of a scripting language. Java or Powershell is preferred.
* A high-level understanding of key security concepts such as firewall design
* An understanding of Service Now development, specifically for the Configuration and Asset Management (ITSM) modules
