Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Independently provide systems engineering for applied research and technology in an advanced networking and communication organization that supports U.S. Government DoD, Civilian, and Advanced Programs communities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Lead Systems Engineering efforts for mission critical, real-time, networked solutions supporting SIGINT, EW, and Cyber missions

· Translate customer requirements into system requirements

· Perform requirements analysis and systems partitioning

· Manage flow-down of systems requirements to architectural elements

· Work closely with all engineering disciplines throughout the development process

· Oversee system validation to ensure system requirements are addressed

· Travel to other LGS Locations or Customer Sites as necessary

* Obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level to perform the job

Skills and Knowledge:

* Demonstrated ability to provide strong customer focused leadership in the delivery of technically complex solutions with highly skilled, multi-discipline technical teams
* Technical or operational knowledge of wireless communication systems and applications
* Technical or operational experience with tactical and national intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems
* Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to resolve technical conflict
* Experience with Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence as applied to SIGINT, EW, and Cyber missions
* Experience interacting with customers, development teams, and program managers
* Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required

Minimum Education and Experience:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics and 8 years of experience or an equivalent combination of skills, education and experience.
* Master’s or PhD degree preferred

Working Conditions:

· Work is typically performed in office environment which requires proper safety precautions. Work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes, or equipment.
