Systems Engineer-Offutt AFB, NE - 1080689

KBRwyle is seeking a Systems Engineer to support J5N53 with their Theater Integration Planning System (TIPS) application. Duties will include software testing with each delivery, troubleshoot issues that arise in the application(s) and work with various groups to come up with a fix or an acceptable workaround, system checks in the morning. Quick 5 min OPS check of the system and report current status. Low level troubleshooting of system issues for users and trouble ticket tracking. PKI issues, network share permissions, new application version installs, etc. User requirement gathering and clarification. Translate user requirements over to the PM/Developer team for implementation. When new version of TIPS (SPA/ACME) is delivered, run through the steps a normal user would take when creating/modifying a Generated Strike Option. Try to use all the functionality of the tool to ensure it works correctly and focus heavily on areas of the code that were modified in the new version. Attend various meetings to ensure developers are delivering what the customer has requested and assist the customer and developer where need to meet delivery schedules. Provide exercise support as requested. Will be working an Agile and DevOps process with the developer to deliver the application. Will be working SPA sprint reviews and delivery Order sprint reviews on a bi-weekly basis.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma with 8 yrs experience. Prefer BS degree in technical field
Experience: 5-10 years IT system engineering experience.
Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
Work will be at USSTRATCOM, Offutt, AFB NE.
