Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

The Candidate shall conduct research into and apply knowledge of Sponsor test and evaluation (T&E) concepts and related engineering, acquisition, and operations activities as needed to support the T&E activities. The Candidate shall assess operational and system performance requirements for testability and criticality to frame and prioritize T&E objectives and enable evaluation planning. The Candidate shall coordinate with program Systems Engineering (SE) and review T&E-related SE information to leverage functional analysis, system descriptions, parameter selection and dependencies, Modeling and Simulation, and initial performance risk assessments to inform evaluation planning. The Candidate shall assess operational environments and priorities for evaluation attention and scenario selection, and to coordinate user participation in T&E. The Candidate shall specify, validate, and adapt Modeling and Simulation for T&E use. The Candidate shall plan program and event level risk-tailored performance estimation and analysis of system and operational Effectiveness and Suitability metrics & conditions; levels of T&E include inspection, demonstration, paper analysis, survey, simulation, and physical test. The Candidate shall design surveys for evaluation of Subject Matter Expert (SME) input and user assessments of performance. The Candidate shall select, develop, & use analysis tools. The Candidate shall produce Evaluation Plans (metric framework, scenarios/threads, timelines, requirements/T&E cross-walk), Analysis Plans, Data Requirements, Risk Assessments, Evaluation Reports, Status reports; provide input to Sponsor T&E products (e.g., Technology Readiness Assessments, Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, T&E Plans & Procedures and Test Readiness Reports). Candidate shall plan program and event level testing for collection of data required for analysis and to synch T&E events with supported decision points. The Candidate shall design data sampling schemes to optimize the information/resource balance and to control testing uncertainties. The Candidate shall ensure test readiness including training of test event participants re: conduct of the event; equipment readiness, and security, legal, and privacy compliance arrangements. The Candidate shall produce associated Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports/Briefings, Data Management Plan. The Candidate shall establish and employ Data & Configuration Management capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

* Demonstrated expertise in designing, prototyping, and deploying solutions across a worldwide enterprise
* Demonstrated expertise in enterprise management of Linux hosts (RHEL, CENTOS)
* Demonstrated expertise using deterministic configuration management tools (Puppet)
* Demonstrated expertise with container technologies (e.g. VMware and/or Docker) in enterprise environment
* Demonstrated ability to identify and integrate new tools and technologies within an enterprise environment
* Demonstrated expertise in automating manual processes
* Demonstrated experience leveraging the Atlassian Suite of tools for ticketing, documentation, and version control

Desired Qualifications:

* Experience programming in Bash, Ruby and/or Python.
* Demonstrated expertise with Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing.
* Red Hat Certified System Administrator / Red Hat Certified System Engineer.
* Familiarization with VMWare and RAID configurations.
* Demonstrated understanding of authentication and authorization fundamentals within a Sponsors Network.
