Team Leader Production Bond

Job Summary

Team Leader Gate Gourmet is the world’s largest independent provider of catering services for the airline industry. We work with over 300 airlines to deliver delicious, healthy and affordable food whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety and production to over 270 million travelers around the globe.We are currently seeking two Team Leaders within Production and Bond area to support respective Section Manager in managing the daily operation, taking ownership and accountability for meeting operational objectives and targets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The Team Leader is responsible for managing the team’s output to ensure delivery of business, section and customer targets. You will carry out performance monitoring and escalate concerns to the Section Manager. We are looking for a Team Leader who can create a positive working environment along with maintaining compliance across health & safety, food safety, and gateOPEX our in-house operational excellence programme.

Qualifications:

Education

* Degree educated preferred and/or relevant work experience.

Work Experience

* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

* Food hygiene, security, H&S experience/qualification preferred.

* Relevant operational experience.

* Demonstrable experience of taking accountability.

Skills & Knowledge

* Basic to intermediate IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

* Numerate and literate, ability to interface with senior management

* Excellent communication and presentation skills. Concise and professional in delivery.

* Proven leadership ability

Rotating Shift Patterns: Ability to cover a 7-day operation Early Shift: 06.00am - 14.00pm Late Shift: 14.00pm - 22.00pm

Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 + benefits
